Take That gross top one night only cinema gig

Take That streamed their spectacular new show live on to 520 screens across the UK & Eire on Friday night (19th June), receiving a rapturous welcome from fans and making it the highest grossing 'one night only' concert in cinemas in the UK to date.

The band kicked off their spectacular Take That Live tour in Glasgow on 27 April to much critical acclaim. Playing to sell-out audiences across the UK throughout May and June, the band are now heading to Newcastle for the final show on Friday 26th June.

Sassy Films and ScreenLive Entertainment filmed and live streamed the last night of the band's record-breaking 10-show stint at London's iconic O2 arena to cinemas in the UK, Eire, Continental Europe and selected territories worldwide. The roll-out continues through the Summer and will reach over 40 territories in total.

The reception from fans has been over-whelming, with #TTLiveCinema trending on Twitter throughout the night and thousands of fans sending in pictures of their local cinema transformed into an all-singing, all-dancing celebration. Encores are now planned for Sunday 28 June. Listings can be found at www.TakeThat.com/livecinema.

Take That are defined by some of the most memorable and spectacular live productions in UK music history and this show is certainly no exception. A wonderful colourful explosion, with everything from dancing jellyfish, beautifully choreographed puppetry and a contemporary dance routine performed by Mark and Howard to a flying tandem sidecar that soars out over the crowd, a burning globe, pyros, fireworks and indoor rain.
