Justin Combs posts loving Puff Daddy snap

Sean 'Puff Daddy' Combs' son is grateful his father is 'always there for him'.

The musician was initially held for investigation of three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of making terrorist threats and one count of battery after reportedly lashing out at his son Justin's university football game on Monday.

His rep has claimed the star was defending himself and 21-year-old Justin has now taken to Instagram to show his love for his dad.

'I thank God for having a father that's always there for me.. Love you pops! (sic),' he posted alongside a snap of Sean with his arm around him, both smiling.

The alleged incident occurred when Sean was watching Justin play for the Bruins football club at the UCLA campus. It's thought assistant coach Sal Alosi started shouting at Justin, which is when the music star lost his cool. Apparently he 'grabbed' the coach and picked up a metal kettlebell weight.

'The various accounts of the event and charges that are being reported are wholly inaccurate," Nathalie Moar, a representative for Combs Enterprises, told The Associated Press. "What we can say now is that any actions taken by Mr Combs were solely defensive in nature to protect himself and his son."

Sean was taken into custody but released on $50,000 bail and police confirmed no one was seriously injured. The rapper's camp remains 'confident' the case will be dismissed.
